How to block out light from your window

This is my unique method of blocking out all sunlight from my bedroom window. As I often sleep in daylight this is necessary, as curtains alone don’t make the room dark enough. Using cardboard blocks out more light than just a blind.

youve done a good job there sonny, but i dont suppose it looks very attractive from the outside does it?
The back covers of the video boxes are plain cardboard. Since I made this video I have stapled net curtains to the back of these video cardboard boxes, so that from the street outside, it just looks like net curtains stuck to my windows.
