Is sleeping during the day bad for me?

For the past few years I have been sleeping during the day. My window shades are not the best, they allow some sunlight in so I usually cover my eyes with a pillow but it probably doesnt stay that way. I do get 8+ hrs a day though. Is this really harmful to my health? I will be getting blackout shades soon and getting on a normal schedule when my job permits, but is sleeping with a bit of light going to cause me long term problems now? I’m 24 and hope its not too late to fix this.

Motorized Hunter Douglas Designer Screen Shades

We did this application in a Las Vegas home. The upper windows were hard to reach windows. They were 20 feet in the air. We needed a scaffolding to install the upper shades. We used Somfy Sonesse 30 motors which are low voltage motors. This saves on wiring costs, makes programming a breeze and saves on troubleshooting time down the road. We installed a tabletop plug in transformer with a Somfy Power Distribution Panel. This allows us to protect each motor from line voltage which could cause a fire as well as it helps with the programming. The 15 amp transformer used here will operate 5 shades and the 20 amp will operate 8 shades. Each motor pulls 1.66 amps at startup and then .75 amps of continuous power once they are running. Motors are controlled by a radio wall switch and a radio handheld remote. Both of these devices are 5 channel options and require no wiring. The wall switch has a 15 year battery on it and the handheld is about 5 year battery life. All batteries are a simple watch battery that can be found in any hardware or office supply store. We are located in San Diego and have operations in Las Vegas, Palm Springs, Orange County, and Los Angeles. We have retrofitted the Hunter Douglas Designer Screen Shades in Cassette’s with the Somfy Sonesse ST-30 low voltage silent motor. We used a 5 channel radio remote so no wiring was needed. In California, does balance need to be paid in full before installation of window shades?

We recently ordered window shades for our home. At the time of the order, we put down a deposit of 50 percent. The company has contacted us and told us that our order is ready for delivery and we need to pay the balance before they’ll come to the house and do the installation. We thought from our previous experiences that payment is due after installation. Does anyone know the California law — whether it’s before or after installation.
